What is a Vampire Treatment?

Our technique relies on a special form of your own blood known as PRP (platelet-rich plasma). Your blood has four primary components: plasma, red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets.

In order to complete your Vampire Facial® at our clinic, our team will start by drawing a small amount of your blood. The sample is then placed into a device known as a centrifuge. This specialized device will spin the blood at high speeds, causing the various components to separate.

The goal of this process is to create PRP, which is used in your Vampire Facelift® treatment. PRP has about five times as many platelets as unaltered blood. The centrifugal force of our device is able to separate the various components because each aspect of your blood has different densities.

What to Expect When You Come in for a Vampire Treatment

With that being said, we understand that coming in for any medical procedure can be a bit unsettling, especially if it is your first time. We don’t want you to encounter any surprises when you come in, which is why we are completely transparent about our treatment protocols.

When you arrive at our clinic, you will immediately be greeted by one of our friendly staffers. If it is your first time partnering with us, then you may be asked to come in a few minutes early to complete some essential forms. Once that is complete, you will be escorted back so that one of our team members can complete a blood draw.

The blood will be used to create the PRP for your Vampire Facelift®. This is an essential first step in your treatment. Our staff is extremely experienced and will ensure that you experience a minimal amount of discomfort. Make sure to eat a good meal and drink plenty of water before your appointment. This can help you avoid feeling dizzy or nauseous.

Generally, it takes our team about 15 minutes to create the special serum needed for your Vampire Facial®. The next step is for our physician to perform your chosen treatment protocol. Depending on the procedure that you select, your appointment may last anywhere from about 45 to 90 minutes. Most treatments are finished in under an hour and you can resume your normal routine immediately afterward.

Vampire Facials®

  • Achieve smoother looking skin
  • Improve the coloration of their face
  • Eliminate rough areas and improve texture

During the Vampire Facial®, our team will use a combination of micro-needling and topical PRP. The micro-needling will cause a bit of mild discomfort. It is designed to jumpstart your body’s natural healing process. Most patients experience a bit of swelling for 1-2 days after micro-needling, but it will subside rather quickly.

The PRP may be applied both pre- and post-needling. Depending on your needs, the PRP may only need to be applied after the micro-needling is completed. During this treatment, the PRP is applied topically instead of through subdermal injections. The Vampire Facial® is a shorter procedure and can be completed in under one hour.

The majority of patients see results in as little as 1-2 weeks. These results typically include tighter skin, reduced lines, and a more youthful appearance. The entire treatment protocol usually consists of 3-4 sessions spread out over a 4-6 week period. This will produce results that last for about 6 months.

Keeping your fresh look is easy with our Vampire Facial® follow-up visits. Generally, our pros recommend a treatment session every 6 months to a year after you have completed the initial procedure cycle.

Is the Vampire Facial® Right for Me?

Vampire Facelift®

The Vampire Facelift® is the more in-depth of the vampire treatment options at our Georgia clinic. It is designed for patients that want more extreme results. We generally recommend the Vampire Facelift® procedure for patients that want to:

  • Improve volume
  • Reshape their face
  • Achieve a smoother texture

The Vampire Facelift® procedure uses a combination of sub-dermal (injected) PRP and hyaluronic acid (HA). The HA provides immediate results by adding volume and reshaping your face. The PRP will work to promote natural healing and an improved appearance over time.

The PRP injections will be targeted to attack problem areas. They promote collagen growth and the natural healing process. During your Vampire Facelift®, you will most likely receive injections in the forehead, the cheeks, under the eyes, and on the chin.

The hyaluronic acid mentioned above will be used in the same locations during your Vampire Facelift®. HA adds volume and will slowly metabolize over a 12-month period.

Younger patients that already have optimal volume can receive a Vampire Facelift® without the HA. This procedure only uses subdermal PRP injections and is a great way to freshen up your look.
